I am a self-taught painter living and working in a beautiful, diverse and gritty area of Western Massachusetts. My studio sits alongside the Green River east of the Berkshire Hills.

I am committed to the work of painting, mark making and the process driven task of growing an image.

From my point of view, putting color and line on paper or canvas becomes a form of verse. My painting dialect reveals my development and the experience of learning about myself and the world.
